On this week’s Top Chef All Stars, episode 14 (Island Fever): As the top chefs continue their cookoff for the title of “Top Chef” in the Bahamas, they have to cater a high-end lunch party for a yacht club’s 80th anniversary and serve up Bahamian delicacies – including conch, which the chefs must catch in the ocean. Chef Lorena Garcia, one of the country’s leading Latina chefs and creator of Big Chef Little Chef, is guest judge. This is part 2 of a 3-part finale – yeah, they’re draggin’ it out…

The Quickfire:
Looks like the chefs are pairing up for this challenge and its boys against girls. Their making their dish for dish 100 people.
- Richard Blais picks Mike Isabella first, but Antonia Lafaso would have picked Tiffany Derry anyway, since Tiff is always calm and clear-headed. We love the Tiff…
- Mike Isabella thinks he and Richard are the favorites (you have that half right, Mikey) and predicts they’ll win and crush the girls. We’ll just have to see…
- Richard makes bolognaise sauce and Mike Isabella makes the pasta. They’re making a fresh pork bolognaise with macaroni and pecorino cheese.
- Richard would love to win the Quickfire, build momentum and spread intimidation among the other chefs. That sounded arrogant.
- Meanwhile, Antonia butchers meat like nobody’s business (flashbacks of Hung Huynh).
- Antonia and Tiffany are making seared beef tenderloin salad with lentils and celery leaves. YUMMM….
- The girls seem much less stressed than the boys and are more systematic in their process. But they have to plate 100 dishes and they have four components – plating won’t be quick.
- Richard refers to Tiffany and Antonia’s dish as “slice and serve”. That’s just rude. Richie, I hope you choke (or at least get over yourself – arrogance is such a turnoff).

The Elimination Round:
- The chefs jump ship and storm the beach, in a race for first pick of ingredients. They find boxes of gorgeous shellfish and produce, but when they open the box labeled “Conch” all they find is snorkeling equipment. Have fun fishing boys and girls!
- Tiffany Derry is freaking because she’s never gone snorkeling before and worries about getting eaten by sharks.
- Richard has his own fears: “I don’t want to see Mike Isabella topless. And you don’t either.”
- Antonia thought she was a strong swimmer, but it looks like she forgot how to tread water.
- Richard doesn’t have diving skills.
Mike Izzy topless and Padma Lakshmi in a Bikini… Maybe they should have named this episode “Topless Chef”. I definitely see a “Top Chef” adult movie spoof popping up in the near future…
