Ron Jeremy’s Food Porn Hijacks Popular LA Food Truck

If there was any doubt in the growing popularity of the food truck industry, Porn star and actor, Ron Jeremy, is proof that the mobile food business is going strong and steady. Jeremy is starring in an adult film called “The Flying Pink Pig” that satires the food truck craze. In fact, the producers of the X-rated film were able to “borrow” a popular Los Angeles food truck, The Flying Pig, for filming.

According to the adult film’s director, Erica McLean, she saw the food truck while driving home, asked The Flying Pig owner and chef, Joe Kim, if she could use the truck for her film and he happily agreed. McLean went on to say, “They were really excited to have their truck in my movie.”

However, Chef Joe Kim had a very different story to tell the Eater LA: "I was told by my ex-employee that the shooting was about a romantic movie. I never spoke with them and was just misled by wrong info. I need to discuss this matter with my lawyer ASAP. Hopefully I can find a way to minimize the damage on our reputation."

All this just days before Chef Kim received a much-coveted permit to for his own brick and mortar restaurant, Flying Pig Café, which will soon be opening in Los Angeles’ Japan Town. Let’s hope the new food porn flick doesn’t have a negative impact on Kim’s “flying pig” enterprise…
